Mr. Pars Ram Punj
Chairman and Founder
Mr. Pars Ram Punj is the founder and director of the Parsram Foods Group
and is renowned for his role in pioneering the Australian pulse industry. In
1991, he received the Sir Ian McLennan Achievement for Industry Award by
CSIRO for commercialization of the Australian Chickpea market. Today he continues to innovate and transform the Australian Agri-commodities and food trading landscape. Currently, along with his chairman role of Parsram Foods Pty Ltd. Mr. Pars Ram Punj heads the export division of Parsram Foods which currently exports Pulses to our global customer base. Mr. Pars Ram Punj also applies his depth of knowledge and supervises the introduction of new manufacturing capability into our manufacturing site.
Mr. Bhoomi Pal Punj
Director
A Commerce Graduate who has worked in the Parsram Foods Group as a Commodity Trader for Steel, Chemicals and Animal Feed. He has also worked in the subsidiary Goldchill Brewing (Aust) Pty Ltd in the role of Sales and Marketing manager for Southeast Asia. Bhoomi has also gained experience as a Trader for the main operating company Parsram Foods in Food Grain within the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) – India’s Largest Futures Commodity Exchange. He was instrumental in pulses and grains futures contracts development and established and created the National Bulk Handling Corporation (NBHC), India’s first non-government approved public warehouse for the storage of grains. From there he was responsible for getting finance approved for the first time by the Indian Government owned Bank (State Bank of India).
Bhoomi is now the Director for Parsram Foods Pty Ltd in Australia and continues to pave the way resonating the group’s vision and mission.
